We have space reserved at Camp Coloma for most the times we are planning to go up.  But you need to make a reservation with us - so we can make sure we have enough camp sites reserved and that they are all in the same location.

We have food planned for Friday night through Sunday lunch. We will have the usual snacks and beverages as well.  Check out time is 12:00 noon. There will be an extra charge if you stay past 1:00 pm - which is your responsibility.

If you want to camp, but do not have all the gear you need, we have some extra available. If you want to bring someone who will not be rafting (kids, baby sitters, significant others, Mom, Dad, you name it) send an e-mail to either ĒTKĒ Frank Amdur or to Fletcher Johnson to make arrangements.  

If you donít like to camp but do like rafting, there is a bed & breakfast nearby as well.  Just contact Coloma Country Inn (530) 622-6919 or Coloma Cabins (800) 238-2298. Also, the camp does have some private rooms you can rent so you donít have to sleep in the open or in a tent.

Planned menu: (subject to change on a whim....)

  • Friday Night: Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, Salad, fruit, snack foods (chips & dip, carrots, etc.)
  • Sat. Breakfast: Cereal, eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, Orange Juice
  • Sat Lunch on the raft: Bread, mustard, mayo, lunch meats, snacks. Build your own sandwich. For those who are not rafting, you can eat the same thing (especially if you are planning a day hike in the hills or a visit to the gold discovery site - Sutter's mill, etc.)
  • Sat Dinner: BBQ Chicken, salad, grilled veggies. Feel free to BYOS, etc. This is subject to change since we like to spice things up.
  • Sun Breakfast: Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, coffee, hot chocolate, Orange Juice
  • Sun Lunch: Whatever we can scrounge up (usually not a problem...)
